What is the ReNEW program?

ReNEW is a research-based program that offers a personalized exercise program to cancer patients. The program staff evaluates your current fitness level and develops a personalized exercise program to meet your needs. The goal is for you to love the exercise that you are doing so that you do more of it!

What should I expect during the ReNEW program?

The ReNEW program includes 5 main components:

  1. Initial comprehensive physical function evaluation
  2. Exercise consultation and exercise prescription by an ACSM Cancer Exercise Trainer
  3. 12 supervised small group exercise sessions with an ACSM certified Cancer Exercise Trainer (60 minutes/session)
  4. Follow-up comprehensive physical function evaluation
  5. Community recommendations for physical activity programming for cancer survivors

All in-person sessions take place in our state-of-the-art fitness studio. Zoom classes are also available.

How can I make an appointment?

The ReNEW program is available to patients within one year of active treatment. Registration may occur by either provider OR self-referral. A referral is not required. Give our ReNEW team a call at (585) 486-0635 to schedule your initial evaluation.
