Yoga is a breath centered, mindful movement focused on building greater resilience in the nervous system, these breath centered yoga practices support each individual and their unique needs.

What is Gentle Yoga?

A program that integrates mindful stretches, strength, balance, energy work, breath work, restorative postures and guided relaxation into a healthful experience. Techniques learned in class can be implemented into daily life to help relieve stress, improve sleep and promote a greater sense of wellbeing. Each class is tailored to the needs of the participants, with options and adaptations given as needed.

  • Yoga mats and blocks are available for in-person participants
    • But if you have your own and are able to bring them with you, we encourage you to do so.
  • May be done in a chair, if needed
  • In-person and Zoom options available

What is Restorative Yoga?

A combination of gentle movement, restorative postures, and guided meditation. Restorative postures are intended to promote restfulness for the nervous system. Props are used in specific ways to either create or fill space. The intention is to fully support and cradle the body to provide receptiveness to relaxation and rest.

  • May be done in a chair
  • Zoom option only
